Peter Wells and Gary Burke are based in DUMBO, Brooklyn, NY. Partners of ten years, they have travelled the world and explored high and low food cultures in many regions and countries. They speak fluent restaurant French, restaurant Italian and restaurant Japanese. And yet, despite knowing how to make a few things, they’re novice cooks. This blog is an effort to change that, learning as we go and cooking as much as possible.

The most favored style of cooking is the neo-traditional – cooking that respects tradition, works with the seasons and explores different cultures. New York is a city I love because “local” here means so much.
